How to Save Democracy #02

Vote.

No matter how futile it all feels, we have to vote like our lives depend on it because our lives absolutely depend on it.

Some states require you to be registered at least a month before the election. If you’re not sure you’re registered, check right now. If you’re not sure you’ve got proper ID, these folks can help.

40% of US citizens don’t vote. If you want to know why things are the way they are, there’s your answer. We are a disenfranchised nation. We are disconnected from our purpose and our power. We have the means to change everything, but it all starts with the vote. That’s literally step one.

The world isn’t out there somewhere. It’s right here, it’s right now, waiting for you to claim it. Nothing will work right until you do.
