Hilma af Klint: Permission to Change

The title image is from the Hilma af Klint show at the Tate Modern last month. I had no idea she painted traditional landscapes early in her career. What an evolution she had! Back in ‘92 a high school friend wrote, Never change, in my yearbook and while I appreciated the sentiment I remember thinking to myself, oh… just you wait

Keep changing, friends! Your adolescent loyalties weren’t meant to last. 🦋
